Photo friend Bridg and I went location scouting to Lydney Docks. This amazing place has it all- water; rusting nautical bits and bobs; waterworn timbers, twisted ivy and crumbling brick. So desperate were we to shoot some portraits that we were tempted to kidnap some Bank Holiday day trippers- (we carelessly neglected to take our own children. ) I'll save the wide angle shots for a planned shoot sometime in the future...but will share a few arty shots just 'cos I'm feeling kind.
We risked life and limb not to mention a £400 fine to snap this one, by trespassing on railway property. I am so not a rule breaker, but that Bridg, she led me on.
I probably have no readers left after my absence from Blogland- the longest I've been without posting since - well, ever! Of course this is down to my highly glamorous and fast paced lifestyle and not down to inertia and sloth on my part. How could you think such a thing. The ONLY exciting thing I've done in the last two weeks was another trip to the Bluebell woods, this time with my babies in tow.
Without further ado....
The kids were on fine fettle. Strike a pose i said- so they did.
