Ach- what a week. I feel a year older than I did at the beginning of the week...oh yeah, I AM a year older! I can't possibly tell you how old... suffice to say that the year I was born, US troops arrived in Vietnam; Malcolm X was shot; The Sound of Music premiered and Winston Churchill died. Work it out, if you're that interested....
So obviously I've been far to busy partying to post but, in between making a major decision or two and adjusting to the extra year that seems to have attached itself to my face in the form of yet another wrinkle, I have eventually managed to catch up. Hold tight.
Firstly, proof that anything I can do, two {can} do better...
And the blackbirds saved me at least a handful of {ripe] berries...
...and the runner beans limp towards the watery sun clinging onto the beanpoles which may be a bamboo cane to you, but it's a {support} group to these clingy characters...
And finally... {educate}. Education looming large in our lives this week as the major decision referred to earlier on relates to the education of DD. Tell you later.
So here's Oli doing a little project on 'time'. Want to discuss the philosophy of time? Oli is your man. He can't actually tell the time very well- it's one of his blind spots... but he can talk about time as a philosophical concept (where did tomorrow go?), the theory of relativity and the Grandfather Paradox (which states that if you went back in time and killed your grandfather you would, of course, stop yourself from being born, and therefore would not be able to go back in time to kill your grandfather, which means he would live and you would be born. Or something like that. Then of course, you get into talk of parallel timelines and universes...)
Back tomorrow. x
Wow,
when you catch up, you do it in style. Love the watering cans and I have tools just like what you have on the ground next to them. Cool!

Happy Birthdau Maz. And so another bottle of champagne to drink when we meet :-)
1965 eh :-) Swap you for 1958 :-(
Before I comment further, I'll tell you this. I wish I had used Estee Lauders Night Repair . . . my skin today would then, according to the ads, look ten years younger than it does! And boy would that be a bonus. Feeling old and looking in the mirror and having it confirmed is simply awful!
Ah, well . . . to erase the lines would be to erase the memories, and although it would be good to get rid of some, most are far too precious, and those others . . . well they are part of what made me like I am today . . . and, imo, I am a much better person today than I was thirty years ago. So speaks volumes.
Do blog about your birthday :-) Would love to hear about it.
Decisions eh? Me too! LOL In a nutshell my boy now, over the past year, has come to dislike his school so much :-( Looks like a change is afoot once next school year is over.
And so to stop my rambling and move on to your photos. FABULOUS watering cans, they look well matched and happy together :-) And the DOF on the next two is nothing short of amazing. Love, simply love them.
And then Oli :-) Even though he is hiding still a super, super shot.
Gonna have a play with some photos etc and may even post an sps later!
Bye for now . . . Sue
