Light is my friend, and my friend has gone missing. My creative spirit lies underexposed and dampened by the drizzle and drear. The clouds press down yet I press on, enjoying the little comforts of hearth and home that make the winter bearable. I can hardly be bothered to lift my camera, but I'm trying to deny the urge to hunker down and hibernate. Hence, indoor shots, Through the viewfinder, ISO 800 and no apologies, of things that keep me warm at heart today.
How random is that?
I live for random~your images peaceful..warm

Love the TtV shots...they are intimate and warm. Just what I need on a cold and cloudy day

love the TtV images. awesome boots too. I love indoor homey shots. I take them often. The fading light makes it difficult especially when one gets home from work after dark. I cherish the weekend day light hours. I look forward to cozy fires.

Thank you for stopping by and commenting. It occurs to me how no matter where we live we can feel this kind of melancholy. Where I live, the sun shines all the time (So. California) and I was thinking yesterday of how tiring it gets to so rarely experience the contrast. For me too it can become difficult to find inspiration to pick up my camera for another day of sunshine outside. How I long for a brisk walk through a pile of changing leaves with a scarf wrapped around my neck and a red nose when I return.
I am so glad I found your inspiring site, and a lovely new creative friend to visit.
