Actually, driving out for a day at the Paternal Grandparents', hoping that the Big Freeze* wouldn't cause us to be stranded away from our home, our presents and our turkey. It didn't, we are back home safely and awaiting the arrival of the maternal grandparents from the (relatively) frozen SouthWest.
Have a safe and enjoyable Christmas everyone!
*to my Northern American friends, this is a relative term, referring to the hype and hysteria that follows the gritting lorries as they ply their salty trade when temperatures fall below zero- centigrade, of course!
glad you had a safe trip - great shot

I hope the maternal grandparents made it there safely. The weather has been so up and down here with ice. Still it's beautiful here this morning. Happy Christmas Maz to you and your family.
