...a few miscellaneous pictures. (I used that word because I am too old to say 'random' a lot.) Yesterday was the 25th of the month, and although I was too slothful to post, I did troll around with my camera all day as is my wont on the 25th of the month, in order to record a day in the life of the H family for posterity. Just think, by the 25th of December I'll have a whole load of really boring pictures! But I am convinced that the social commentators and archaeologists of the future, plundering the anthropological seams of the waste tip of cyberspace, will have a field day when they look at these blogs. Diving for Pearls? More like Diving for the slimy lettuce at the bottom of the fridge.
Any idea what I'm talking about? No? My plan is working then.
So. This was the first pic I took yesterday. OK the second but I'm definitely not showing you the first. As you can see it's raining.
Now, this is significant because the whole day was planned around DH's band playing an outdoor gig at the bandstand by the river. Uh uh. Time to make our own entertainment.
Like taking silly SPs.
And, for those with that 'nerd' chromosone, (no offence) a 3 hour game of warhammer.
BTW, that's the same chromosone that compels you to leave every possible cupboard door open after use. Funny thing to take a picture of, but this is the sort of thing the anthropologists of the 22nd Century will want to know about.
Other things more pleasing to the eye;
Indoor drums only...
...and time to dry the dog before he shrinks.
Things went rather downhill after this. Largely because those who were hoping for an afternoon of sun and live music decamped to our house and there was rather a lot of this going on.
I can't show you the photos of ensuing events because a) the visitors didn't sign the consent forms and b) the photos are rubbish. (Lack of natural daylight, you understand..)
And then! Sophie phoned! All the way from t'other side of the world! Robyn grabbed the camera and shot this fab foto! (There's a phone in there somewhere)
Time for a sobering walk, as the rain finally cleared.
Perfick.
ROFLMAO at the idea of the dog shrinking :D
